The adoption of new
building materials with enhanced air-tightness has exacerbated
the problem of indoor air pollution caused by emission of
chemicals used in the building materials, revealing the
problem of chemical sensitivities, and sick building, sick
house and sick school syndromes. Our Environmental Medical
Center is indispensable to the diagnosis and treatment of
such symptoms.: It is a facility from which the maximum
effort is made to remove not only dust, mites, pollen and
other such allergens present in air, but also the slightest
hint of any chemical substances, airborne microbes and other
such environmental factors.
Through the comprehensive combination
of chemical substance removal technology, anti-outgassing
technology and non-methane hydrocarbon (NMHC) monitoring,
the first Environmental Medical Center (patent no.3064955)
was created. The Environmental Medical Center facilities
used for diagnosis and treatment also require chemical substance
injection systems and indoor airborne microbe sterilization
technology.
The development of these technologies
resulted in the Environmental Medical Center, which can be
used to diagnose and treat the symptoms of chemical sensitivities,
and sick school and sick building syndromes.

An increasing number of people
around the world are developing allergies to pollen, mite,and
other irritants. As a result, there is an increasing demand
for a controlled space in which the efficacy of various
new anti-allergic drugs and goods (masks, etc.) can be verified.
The Artificial Exposure Chamber generates a circulating
air stream in the chamber at a constant antigen concentration,
temperature, humidity and air flow rate, thereby enabling
many people to undergo extended exposure tests. After the
test, the chamber can be automatically cleaned with pure
water and dried with hot air in preparation for the next
exposure test. |
